Welcome to Shalom, Inc. a school and
community-based private, non-profit, agency. Offering a variety of
professional services that range from prevention and intervention services
through our community-based treatment program.
Safe Dates
is an evidence-based model program. The
nine-session program that targets attitudes and behaviors of junior and senior
high students associated with dating abuse and violence. Each session is
approximately 50 minutes in length. Safe
Dates can be flexibly scheduled (e.g., daily or weekly sessions).

On May 19th
Claude Thomas, from the education outreach program in the PA Attorney General’s
Office and an active Shalom Board Member will host a presentation on “Cyber-bullying,
What ever parent should know” to parents of Visitation, St. Laurentius, St.
Anne, St. Hugh of Cluny, St. Veronica, Ascension, Our Lady of Port
Richmond and Mother of Divine Grace. The meeting will be hosted at
Visitation, 300 East Lehigh Ave at 7:00pm. We encourage all parents to
attend.
On May 25th,
Claude Thomas, from the education outreach program in the PA Attorney General’s
Office and an active Shalom Board Member will address the students of
Visitation at an assembly on cyber-bullying.
